Registering A Domain

Since the domain name should legally be in your name, we do not register domain names on behalf of our partners. We usually recommend that you register the domain through a registrar like GoDaddy or NameCheap, which will cost around $15 annually. However, you may use any domain registrar that you like.

When you register your domain name, do not select any other products (like hosting or e-mail accounts). If you only register your domain for one year, you will need to renew it annually.
Tip: We highly recommend that you set your domain on: 1) registrar lock: this keeps people from trying to transfer your domain to their registrar; and 2) auto-renewal: this will ensure that your domain name doesn't expire due to non-payment. You can set both of these settings at your registrar.
